We already know how awesome Downtown Disney is, but somehow it just got even better! Monday, April 13th, was the grand opening of The BOATHOUSE restaurant located at the Landing, which is a new neighborhood that will soon become part of Disney Springs. It’s their first all-new dining spot that features real, floating dream-boats from the 30s, 40s, and 50s!

A long time ago (actually, it started in 1997), in a galaxy, far, far away (well, at Hollywood Studios in Florida) thousands of Star Wars fanatics from across the world came to Disney World for the most exciting event of the year: Star Wars Weekends! (Cue the dramatic Star Wars theme music here). This year, many come dressed as their favorite characters, get pumped up to meet their personal heroes (or villains) at celebrity meet and greets, and get to hang out with other hard-core fans from all over the world. The weekend also features parades, trivia contests, and even dance parties!
Make plans, start packing and get ready to treat yourself this fall to scrumptious cuisine and tasty libations at Walt Disney World! Two Disney food and wine festivals have just been added to the Disney World schedule for 2015 and you’ll want to make your reservations soon.

There has been a great deal of speculation over the past several months about the extensive construction taking place over at Disney's Polynesian Resort. Well, Disney has recently announced that phase one of Polynesian Villas and Bungalows will open in 2015!
